Beaded Souls is a unique shop of handmade bead work from Africa, offering quality products and exceptional customer service. We’re a business made up of designers who want to bring beauty to the world, with the drive to constantly offer new designs and an evolving shopping experience.
Beaded Souls is the manifestation of years of collaboration and spiritual inspiration between us - mother and daughter. We relish in the dichotomy of two generations, modern versus traditional African aesthetics and healthy creative debate. Through it all we knew that our shared talents had to be presented to the public for our own creative expression while also contributing to economic empowerment in Africa. We take responsibility for the fair and sustainable production of our goods so that we are also uplifting the societies and communities where our goods are produced.
From the humble beginnings of an in-home African art gallery, the love, respect, and distinguished taste for African design and aesthetic has permeated our lives beginning with the first sale in the living room over 40 years ago. We worked and spread this love for our ancestral art to then open galleries in eclectic Little Five Points and historic Auburn Avenue in Atlanta, GA. As times have changed, so has our approach to bringing high quality African design that is accessible to all walks of life. We now bring you Beaded Souls...a compilation of bead work that will entice you with each new collection. Our mother-daughter duo is powerful, yet humble and we hope to take you on this journey with us through The Beaded Life.
